Acupuncture and Information - this link may seem paradoxical due to the millenarian age of acupuncture and the contemporaneity of the concept of information. In fact acupuncture is by excellence an informational technique by it's use-action on an acupuncture point means information and by explaining the relation between function and structure of the human being.

Let's remember that the fundamental theory of acupuncture anticipates with thousands of years the psychosomatic medicine, cybernetics, psychoanalysis and many other biological concepts waiting to be completely understood.

That's why the integration of acupuncture in modern medicine - stated also by the WHO recommendations - represents another therapeutical choice and opens a new way of understanding the physiology and pathology of the living beings.

This Congress will be thus a new challenge of medical ideas and practices leading to an exciting event.
